Tyche and COVID-19
We (Tyche) are almost in our two month mark since the switch from the traditional work day to online work force, due to the COVID-19 epidemic. What does this mean for Tyche, our employees and the fashion industry? A wide shift in operations and infrastructure is happening with fashion that can not only be maintained at work, but also at home too!
What does the new work week look like for Tyche? For us, we have decided to accomplish our tasks, goals and business from a self-quarantine distance, keeping our employees away from harms way. Our essential employees are maintaining physical work shifts at a 6+ foot distance from one another while wearing protective gear such as masks and gloves. We have issued personal safety guidelines that direct different protocols such as covering one's coughs and sneezes, constant hand washing, the use of sanitization products and maintaining a clean and healthy workspace. Our goal is to not only keep our valuable employees from catching COVID-19, but also respect and uphold.
As any company at this time, we have been faced with the challenge of adaptation. We have been so fortunate to receive ongoing support from our colleagues, families, customers and friends who continue to send heartfelt messages, check in, and place orders with us. Inspired by community, we have moved forward with manufacturing reusable face masks for our customers, families and fashionistas USA-wide. Partnering with LA PROTECTS, we were given the opportunity to create beautiful protective wear that everyone can use over and over again. Not only was this a big step for our business, but also for our essential employees. Without further ado, we'd love to introduce you to our first three reusable face masks!
